I perform and conduct workshops in a wide range of contexts: from performance festivals to symposia dedicated to artistic research, working with both professional musicians and individuals without musical training, engaging speakers of different languages from a variety of countries. The focus of these sessions is always the exploration of language at the crossroads of song and speech, working with texts but also using language in a spontaneous (or “improvised”) manner, experimenting along a continuum between conversation and vocal performance.

In the years 2023-26, I have worked specifically in conference settings, developing workshops that intervene directly in the conference’s own structure of listening and speaking. Rather than treating the conference as a neutral container for presenting research, I use it as a site where the usual distribution of who holds the floor and who receives can be questioned and, briefly, rearranged.

The Table

In July 2026, I took part once again in the Convocation organised by the Language-based artistic research group. This time I explored a different kind of vocal collectivity: that of a dialogue between two. In conversations on memory, language, and multilingualism, I used live effects to displace our voices in time and space — letting a phrase said a moment ago return, or a voice find itself somewhere other than where it was spoken.
